Utilizing strictly found objects from around the Garden Studio, this installation features nine woven sculptural objects. The largest work is created on a metal grid left over from remodeling efforts for the Studio. Six old rakes and one rusted pitchfork were also put into service. One work is woven entirely with natural fibers. A site-specific weaving within a tree outside the Garden Studio is also part of the exhibition.

Members of Heyfield's Body and Soul Dance Studio joined us for a short series of workshops. We brainstormed words associated with the anchor of home, selected those that resonated the most and, through dialogic devising the performers created text and movement based in those words. The title of the show comes from one of the performer's writing.

Gippsland Images is a photo montage of Heyfield, Cowwarr and the surrounding area. During performance it served as a backdrop to the dancers.
