I reside in Torrance, California which is also my birthplace. I am a 4th grade elementary school teacher and I have been teaching 1st, 2nd, and now 4th grade for 25 years. The performing arts have always been a part of my life, and I have loved studying many disciplines of dance since I was a child. When I began my studies at California State Dominguez Hills in 1993, I chose the discipline of Dance as my concentration and was fortunate to have Josephine A. Garibaldi and Paul Zmolek as my dance professors. That was a marvelous time in my life, to learn modern dance and The Art of Capoeira under their guidance and encouragement. Since then, I have focused on visual arts and enjoy painting, drawing, papier maché, collage, and designing clay jewelry. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this project!
