A life art performance installation created while in residence at Buinho Creative Hub.
We stayed at Casa Morgado, a portion of the historic Palace of Morgado. The brick ceiling of a once elegant entry room is crumbling and falling to the floor. The dust and chunks of brick were swept every day and then placed upon dated paper towels along the wall. This dust was collected in a large jar and a crudely bound book of the paper towels stained by the brick dust was made.
During the performance the owner's puppy and cat wrestled on top of the 18 July page, displacing the pile.
On the 23rd we visited Beja and the floor was swept and mopped before we came home in the evening thus, for two days of the project, there was an unknown quantity of fallen debris.
